There’s a tree near my house that didn’t bloom for years.
It stood there, stubborn, and scraggly, all but forgotten—until one spring, without warning, it burst into the most unapologetic bloom of soft white petals I’d ever seen.
It hadn’t been dead.
It had been becoming.
That tree taught me what urgency often makes us forget: not everything powerful grows fast.
In a world that rewards speed, scale, and instant results, patience can feel like weakness. But I’ve come to believe it’s one of the most radical forms of strength—especially in leadership, healing, and systems change.
Because true transformation? It rarely looks impressive at first.
It’s the hard, messy, invisible work of:
- Rebuilding trust inside a team.
- Redefining what success actually means.
- Resisting the pressure to “just fix it” when a deeper question is asking to be heard.
When we work with organizations—whether through Enneagram coaching, video storytelling, or facilitated retreats—we see this again and again: the first steps feel slow. Uncertain. Sometimes uncomfortable.
But then something shifts.
Not always with fanfare, but with clarity.
Not overnight, but with real roots.
We build space for this kind of growth—because rushing rarely gets us where we genuinely want to go. Patience does.
And that’s the gift of the xChange approach I now use with teams: it’s not about telling people what to do. It’s about asking the right questions and trusting that the answers will emerge—together.
Your invitation this week:
Where in your work or life are you being asked to wait?
To trust?
To let something bloom in its own time?
Pause there. Breathe there. Something is becoming
Have you experienced a “long game” win? A moment where the wait was worth it? I’d love to hear it—leave a comment or reply back.
And, if you’re ready to have a transformative group interaction, schedule time to talk to us about your vision.
